If you haven't already joined Google Plus, then I'm urging you, do it now... the benefits will be worth it. I feel like I've finally seen the light with Google+ - I still don't "get it" 100%, but what I've realised is that I'm going to be way behind if I don't start embracing it as soon as possible. This is basically what I did with Twitter: I simply listened to all the negativity about it, rather than trying it for myself, and just thought I can't be dealing with all that, when when I should have been thinking How can it benefit my blog. I'm now totally converted to Twitter, and the positives far outweigh the negatives.
So, what I can I say to convert you to Google+? First of all, I'm no expert. At all. Not even remotely. I've basically learned how to add people to my circles, share things on Google+ and reply to comments... that's it at the moment. But what really changed my mind about using it more is this one thing I found out:
Light bulb moment... Google runs Google Plus. They want it to succeed, so they're going to ensure that your activity on Google+ improves your search engine rankings and visibility.
Once I realised that, it made perfect sense. Did you know it's the THIRD largest social media platform - bigger than Twitter or Pinterest? It's also growing quicker than Facebook and Twitter. Combined. That's some pretty impressive numbers that can't be ignored.
Have I converted you already? Then add me to your circles (follow me) here and I'll return the favour!
The best article I've read about Google+ is by RewardStyle, "7 Reasons You Need To Join Google Plus". You can read it on this link here but only if you're a registered RewardStyle user, so I've pinned a Jpeg of it so everyone can read and repin it.
If you want some further reading, then I can recommend the following links:
Don't forget - add me to your Google+ circles here!

I'll also take this opportunity to let you all know I'm now on outfit-sharing platform Pose, the place to see "what to wear and how to wear it from the world's top trendsetters"... that'd be us, then!
I've been on Pose for a while but, like Google+, have only just got around to getting to grips with it and using it properly. It's the same kind of platform as Chictopia but I much prefer it; there's no 2-per-day upload limit like Chictopia, and I've been reliably told that it's the fastest way for British bloggers to get US traffic to your blog (I'm sure the same applies for all countries outside the US).
It has a great app which you can also use to upload your outfits, so it's easy to update your Poses on the move. And I'm this week's Poser of the Week on the homepage! I really want to find more people to follow on Pose, so join up and leave me a comment and I'll be able to follow you back :)

Finally: LinkedIn. If you're not aware of LinkedIn, its where you "build your brand and profile to share with others, search for work, get valuable information about searching for work, and expand your network", so says For Dummies (read more here).
I want to connect with everyone I deal with on the blog, so if we're not already connected on LinkedIn then connect with me here!
I'm trying to increase my exposure blog/career wise (more of which I'll tell you about in an upcoming post...) and this is the perfect platform to help me do it, and you too if you're like-minded.

So let's connect - everywhere...!
Come back tomorrow for a giveaway! It's something quite apt considering this post: if you want to increase your exposure on the internet, you'll definitely want to come back and enter!
