Last weekend we went exploring in a city we've not been to before: Cheltenham, in Gloucestershire. I had the chance to review a hotel and could pick the location, so we went for a city rich in Regency architecture (like Bath, which is one of my favourite places ever - but I've been there a lot) to do some general exploring and enjoy the sunshine we were lucky enough to have. The hotel review will come next week; I promise you it'll be worth it as the pictures of the hotel are amaaaazing (outfit photos will be included). Meanwhile, here's what I wore on the Saturday!
Not having to wear a coat is such a blessing in the UK - you don't get many months of it so I celebrated with bare forearms, neck and ankles... woo-hoo, so daring! I discovered that my trusty old pink brogues go perfectly with my La Redoute pink heart sweater, and I thought I'd tone down all the pink with a couple of variations of olive green. A couple of interesting pieces of jewellery - the feather earrings (these ones are very similar) and my Hello bracelet and I was ready for some sightseeing.
I have to do sightseeing in flats - or at least very comfy (or chunky) heels - but can you do it in heels like some bloggers I see? Or are you as obsessed with brogues like I am... do share in the comments!
