New Year's Eve at my parents' house has become a bit of a tradition in recent years doing fancy dress: this year the theme was Disney and I chose Cinderella in rags - easy to recreate and a bit different from the usual Disney princess version!
Cinderella may have been "in rags", but she was extremely well turned out considering... her hair and make-up were perfect, and her clothes were well coordinated in shades of blue and brown. Apart from picking up a brown maxi skirt and some "glass slippers" from eBay as an accessory, I already had everything at home and simply added my mum's white apron and put my hair into a quiff with a blue ribbon. It was also pretty amazing that I was joined by all the birds and mice that appeared in the movie. They hadn't aged a bit ;)
